Proteos is a small company housed in the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center in Kalamazoo, MI. The company specializes in protein production, expression and purification. The new Gilson PIPETMAN was a much appreciated addition to his lab and will be used in several techniques they employ:
· Preparing and loading samples to run SDS-PAGE/Western blot
· Preparing samples for plate based protein assays (96-well)
· Performing mammalian and insect cell transfections
